On the first day of your holiday, you’ll touch down at Livingstone’s international airport and travel via shared road transfer to Waterberry Lodge. This property is wonderfully tucked away on the banks of the Zambezi.

It is one of the region's only owner-run properties and as a result gets some of the best client feedback of any camp we sell. The location, approximately 35 minutes' drive from town, guarantees a quiet stretch of river for some superb boating safaris, and the ability to escape the hustle and bustle of the Falls region itself.

Board basis and activities:
There are a number of board basis options at Waterberry, but we recommend the all-inclusive option wherever possible. It is the best value due to the inclusion of trips to the Falls, boating safaris, fishing trips, and cultural excursions to the villages around Waterberry. 

On Day 3, you’ll leave Waterberry Lodge, travelling via shared road transfer to Kasane International Airport. You’ll fly to Selinda Airstrip, and once you’ve landed you’ll have another shared road transfer to Selinda Explorers Camp, within the exceptional Linyati region.

Home to three of Africa’s finest private reserves, this is a first-class big-game area that’s famous for privacy, exclusivity (the major reason for the increase in cost over our value safari), and some of the best game viewing on the continent. Selinda Explorers is the camp we have cherry picked for these three nights; it's an exceptional authentic tented camp.

Selinda Explorers is booked on an all-inclusive basis including all food, drinks, and safari activities. Days are designed by the guides when you arrive in the camp, with standard game drives by day and night available as well as walking safari and mokoro (subject to water levels) – all included in the price.

After your stay at Selinda Explorers Camp, you’ll return to Selinda Airstrip via shared road transfer and fly to Kanana Airstrip. From here, you’ll travel to Kanana Camp, in the Okavango Delta, the jewel in Botswana’s crown. In this wetland paradise lily-scattered floodplains and palm-fringed islands are features of Africa’s most stunning game-viewing environment, along with stacks of big game. Kanana, your home for the next two nights, focuses on the water of the Delta and offers some of the best mokoro excursions and boating safaris in the country.

After two days of focusing on the Delta’s waters, it’s time to head for the drier parts of the region, where activities are more concentrated on finding big game. You’ll have a shared road transfer from Kanana Camp to Kanana Airstrip, where you’ll board a flight bound for Shinde Airstrip. On your arrival, you’ll travel to Shinde Camp via shared road transfer. This is an outstanding property that we’ve used for years.

On the last day of your trip, you’ll return to Shinde Airstrip via shared road transfer and you’ll fly to Maun Airport, arriving in good time for your flight/s home.
